Coming from Xtol, I feel like the mids are much higher. Overall there’s less contrast, but that’s not a problem in post-process. The grain is also a lot more prominent - I can only sharpen about 70% vs 80-90% with Xtol. Most importantly though, I don’t have to mix dry chems! I have a bunch of a HP5 to dev, which would be the equivalent of Tri-X, we’ll see how I feel about that.
